Town of Lorette
Young families are choosing to move to Lorette mainly for the lifestyle offered, but also because of the community’s close proximity to Winnipeg. The easy commute, low taxes, large serviced lots, excellent schools, and quality of services are hard to beat. With lots often double the size of city lots and half the price the benefits are obvious immediately. What’s more, unlike the big city the town council is insisting on larger lots not smaller lots, with the typical minimum frontage of 70 feet. New residents are easily offered the opportunity to become part of a community through sports groups and service clubs like the Lorette Optimist Club, 4H, Boy Scouts and Girl Guides as well as the Knights of Columbus. Lorette was officially designated a bi-lingual community in 2003 and is part of the Association of Bi-lingual Municipalities and proud to offer service in both official languages.
